NWA 7831 (DIO) Meteorite - 15.51g

This new diogenite is special and very unusual as it appears to be dominantly olivine in composition.  When cut extremely thin, the resulting slices are amazingly transparent and display a very pallasite-like quality.  It's beautiful, exotic and very rare.  Very few quality slices like this exist--we have only three, cut from a 730g stone and are keeping one for our own collection.  Most of what has been recovered of 7831 has been small fragments; Don't miss this opportunity to get such a beautiful slice of such a unique meteorite with great provenance--these are straight from the Big Kahuna himself, Gary Fujihara.
